My trust in Your goodness, Lord, is taking a beating. Soooo many people are praying for healing, or at least an easier route through this cancer ordeal, but it only seems to get worse. Doesn’t make sense in light of Your love and myriad of promises to hear and answer our prayers… especially when barraged with soooo many! Today’s “Jesus Calling” devotional might be a sort of salve for these disturbing doubts. “The more INTIMATELY you experience Me, the more CONVINCED you become of My GOODNESS. I am training you to FIND ME in each moment and to be a CHANNEL of My loving Presence. Sometimes My blessings come to you in MYSTERIOUS WAYS : through pain and trouble. At such times you can KNOW My goodness only through your TRUST in Me.” Hmmm… makes me thankful I have 50+ years of stockpiling intimate moments with You. It’s created a wide bandwidth to receive Your comforting presence even in the midst of this tumultuous storm.
