Reflections 8/9/2020: As I was watching the sunrise, or more accurately the effects of the sunrise, (since my Connection Time with You, Lord, space faces west), I was enthralled by the glowing hues on the hills around me. Began with warm oranges and luscious tangerines, and slowly citricized into soft lemon yellows. A fruit bowl of tangy beauty! I couldn’t see Your sun, but I sure could see the opening curtain of its arrival. Another sunlit day of life-giving light! Hmmm… faith is a lot like that. You, the Source of so many delicious blessings, are beyond our sight, BUT the scenery of our surroundings broadcast Your Presence as the Giver behind the gift! I love to revel in the glow of these blessings, but it multiplicatively increases my joy to take time to look Your direction… and thank You for these undeserved but deeply appreciated gifts!
