God, You granted me a REPRIEVE yesterday to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection! Thank You sooo much!! Felt perky, energetic, hopeful and incredibly encouraged! Was able to attend our worship service and our family brunch afterwards! Much like our recent grand-baby shower, You gave me the wherewithal to not only be there, but to delight in the interactions! YAY!!! Crashed and burned in the late afternoon but have some great memories from the hours of REPRIEVE! Today we meet with the oncologist to decide about future infusions of chemo. All my tests came back clean of permanent damage, (including my echocardiogram!) YAY!!! But my water retention, blood pressure (and resulting headaches) are still disturbingly high. Scares me to think of infusing more aversive chemicals to my ailing body when it is still reeling from the last invasion. My tumor markers are responding favorably to this chemical regime, so it would be in my best interest to continue them… but don’t want an aneurysm to take my life in the process. So my prayer is for wisdom. And courage. Thankfully my doctor has a heart sensitive to You God, so inspire him with guidance for this next 3 months of chemotherapy. And thank You again for that wonderful Resurrection REPRIEVE yesterday!
