Reflections 5/15/2020: How funny but ingenious is this! Desperate for McDonald’s food (which has no walk-up option right now), but car-less, they solved their problem! A homemade jalopy! Super cute too! I guess where there’s a will, there’s a way! I’d have liked to see the reaction at the pickup window though! Got me thinking about how I approach problems in my own life. At the first sign of opposition, do I tuck my tail under and slink away in defeat? Or can I survey the situation and get creative? At many of your admonitions to compile my Reflections into a devotional, I have braved my measly computer skills to try and transfer my writings (which are punched out daily in Notes on my iPhone) to my computer. Not as easy as you’d think! Had to track down a special program to do so. Then, when I tried to edit out mistakes, I found that it transferred in a format that didn’t allow editing. So that entailed another foray into the confusing world of computer speak about formats. It has been hand-to-hand combat, but I think my McDonald’s jalopy has been built! Ready for the drive-through! Hopefully the Big Mac will be as fulfilling as I anticipated!
