Just finished up the Dan Brown book, “The Lost Symbol” and feel soooo spun around by all the symbols he uses to drive the storyline that I am dizzy. Fascinating but confusing. Washington DC becomes a gigantic Masonic museum of hidden maps and messages to decipher. And our founding fathers heretics who believed they could become gods with the right acquisition of knowledge. The conclusions he draws feel like a 180 degree shift from what I hear Jesus teaching! Or our founding fathers espousing. Now reality and his speculations are so muddled that I have to sort through the evidence piece by piece to make sense of it all! So when I saw this amazing “coincidence” about Psalm 118, it felt very “Dan Brownish!” BUT… verifiable by facts! Pretty interesting! I don’t know what significance it has, but that middle verse concludes the exact opposite of Brown’s premise that we are our own gods in the making. Heaven forbid that I should call any of the shots on the Universe! Heck, I can barely back my car out of the driveway without taking out a garbage can!
