Reflections 8/4/2020: Roo went to his first birthday party yesterday afternoon! Maizie, the Golden Retriever turned 4 and hosted all the dogs in the neighborhood over for a wild romp! It was a menagerie of canine fun! Goodies and guest bags included! Roo is quite the social animal! He is fascinated by the big dogs and they are surprisingly gentle with him… even schooling him patiently when his razor blades bite into their tails and ears a bit too piercingly. Even his girl, Charlee showed up (the Cavalier King Charles puppy). His romantic advances need a lot of work though. Tackles and rolls her like Jeff Daniels character, Harry, in the snowball fight in “Dumb and Dumber!” Clueless! “Gentle” is becoming Ed’s mantra as he coaches Roo on better moves for wooing a female’s heart! (I can attest to Ed’s expertise here!) Super fun neighborhood bonding time! Thank You God for turning my tears into laughter and joy!
