Reflections 1/12/2020: As I laughed at this cartoon, it dawned on me that I spent the whole night dreaming about cleaning up dog poop in the strangest, most embarrassing places! (Freud would have a heyday with this one!) I’m sure it has many levels of meaning, but the one that comes to mind is my recent decision to put in an application to rescue a dog through Border Collie Rescue. (Ed is not 100% on board, but is willing to go along as long as I take full responsibility for his or her care. Sounds exactly like my parents when we 6 kids begged them to let us get a pet skunk! Hopefully this one will end better than that did!) With more free time on my hands, and Koda’s death far enough in the rear view mirror… I think my heart is ready! Went online and eye-balled a little girl of tri-colored persuasion that caught my breath! Tiny, only 21 lbs., and a devoted snuggler! The problem is that you submit an application and THEY decide what dog is the best fit for your particular family. Sooo God, keep my heart open to whomever You might choose for us (via their impression), and if this is the right time and place to invite a new member into our family, let all the pieces come together in a way that points to You… and gets Ed 100% on board as well.🤓 And I will take responsibility to clean up all the dog poop… embarrassing or not!
