Reflections 1/19/2020: How cute… and true is this?! Is there anything better than that? Living presently in a dogless home, I have missed this type of “paralysis!” But God, You have been training me “be still and unproductive” with a surrogate “pup” on my lap, better known as a heating pad! (Dang tummy pain! Renders me just as immobile!) No fur, spastic dreams with flailing limbs, snoring or drooling… which would seem like a better deal, BUT is ALSO missing the ADORATION ELEMENT! Can’t put a price tag on THAT emotion that also oozes through your body, along with puppy warmth! Still waiting to hear back from the Border Collie Rescue, but I keep entrusting the timing and choice of just the right dog to canine-ize our furless home. It worked when I waited for Ed to show up in my life (and he is pretty furry!), so why not the dog of my dreams?!
