Reflections 10/15/2020: Talk about a “Happy Meal!” These two sure bring it! They will have to Trick or Treat together! Halloween is always such a mixed (candy) bag of feelings for me. I absolutely LOVE the creativity (and cuteness) of the costumes, and the fun energy this opportunity to dress up affords… but HATE the grossness of the ghoulish, bloody death themes. Feels yucky in an evil sort of way to me. There is enough evil in this world without celebrating it in dark, spider-webbed creepiness! Just my gut reaction. (“Every party has a pooper, thats why we invited you!” ) BUT, back to fun costumes! I will have to hide Roo’s side of fries costume until the big day because they look so yummy that they trigger my hunger for the real deal… greasy, salty sticks of heaven that could be the death of me!
