Reflections 7/7/2020: This is our little backyard oasis that blesses our hearts day and night! Well, actually the “night” was more recent. We decided some nighttime illumination would be a wonder-ful addition, so Ed, (not known for his handyman skills!), bought the lighting system and struggled to install it. (Electricity and water don’t mix well!) Ending up with one cord that went nowhere, he dejectedly declared it a failure! So we snuggled on a couch as it got dark, me consoling his valiant attempt at a DIY. To our surprise when it got dark this light show graced our little waterfall! Ed’s dejection turned to de-light!! He did it!! Eureka!! Sometimes recognizing your success just takes a little patience, and the passage of time! Just ask Vincent Van Gogh who sold only one painting in his lifetime (for the equivalent of $109)… only to be discovered post-mortem as one of the world’s greatest artists! Ed’s thinking about starting a new illumination business, but that one unattached cord is still troubling him! And me too!
