Reflections 9/27/2020: I missed the memo that yesterday was National Daughter’s Day, but was celebrating it to the max anyway! First ride together… hmmm… maybe ever? (And my easy-going mare erupted into a rocket ship after being in stall rehab for the last 6 months… super fun to feel that explosive power churning inside her dancing body!) Then later chased (to get action shots) their resident stallions who rose to the occasion of regaling us with their impressive prancing and preening… don’t know how those moves affect the mares, but it sure tantalized me! (Videos to come) Ended our equine adventurous day with a visit to the foals! Bryn fell in love with Clare de Lune, a precious little filly who has discovered that humans are nicer to her than her fellow foals. (She isn’t privy to the news stations!) Jacuzzis, a fairy-lit dinner on the deck and world-problem-solving conversations concluded the day. Couldn’t have been better… even if I HAD know it was National Daughter’s Day! Thank You God! I guess You were celebrating Daughters’ Day too!
