Reflections 1/21/21: Funny but as I’ve faced my second go-round of chemo, I’ve had a few different people use this phrase, “It’s not your first rodeo!” And it encourages me. Actually makes me smile! Being a cowgirl, I love rodeos! I limited my risk factor to barrel racing, but now I get to climb on one of those Brahma bulls and fight for my life!

And not the gentle kind they use for photos at the stock show! This bugger wants to kill me! Buck me off and stomp me to death! I guess that makes You God, my rodeo clown to whisk me to safety before those cloven hooves do me in! Hmmm… I didn’t sign up for this rock in’ rodeo , so how did I get end up on the back of this bucking bull? I guess I’ll never know… But here I am. So open the chute, hold on tight, bend with the rotation of the horns and pray for the best! Yeehaw! Ride’em cowgirl! (By the way, my first infusion got changed to Friday due to the red tape of insurance that got saddled with a rodeo rider despite its vetting process!)
