Reflections 7/14/2020: I’ve always rolled my eyes at the claim that “less is more,” especially in art or decorating. More like boring! I would shrivel up and die in a Scandinavian decorated home! Functional but not fun! Give me Boho or give me death! LOVE details. The drama of depth and intricacy. Texture and colors. Engages me more! BUT this simple silhouetted picture captures my imagination like no up-close and packed with microscopic minutia ever could! Simplicity says it all! It is magnificent in its starkness! Grace tumbling grace-fully out of Heaven on us, Your creatures! And on a peculiarly shaped giraffe no less! God, I cannot believe the diversity You wove into Your incredible creation. Every molecule is a miracle! Give us eyes to see beauty in both the simplicity and the complexity of Your Designer’s touch!
