Reflections 5/20/2020: Well, my doctor’s visit about the dagger gouging my gut basically reduced to this outcome… “Bite the bullet girl!” Still not sure if it is being caused by a rebellious gall bladder, or just standard healing from my surgery, but in either case the outcome is still the same. Don’t complicate the chemotherapy process at this critical stage of the game! I might have protested, but in the elevator going up to the office I spoke with another ovarian cancer patient who is re-starting treatment again after 2 years of being cancer free. Gag!!! This cancer thing is insidious! And determined! Gotta exterminate it NOW at all costs! I have discovered that a back brace strapped around my rib cage shuts down the gouging pain quite a bit, so that will be my bullet-biting strategy for this next 3 months of chemo. That and lots of prayers for healing, Lord! I think the dagger is already less lethal than before, which I attribute to so many people storming Heaven! Sooo… 3 more months of crazy… one grace-filled day at a time!
