Reflections 4/17/2020: Boy I am missing having a furry or feathered (not scaly) pet to love on! Pet Rocks just ain’t cuttin’ it these days! Koda’s been hanging out in Heaven for over a year now, and my grieving has come full circle. Letting go of him and opening my heart to love again. I’m pretty set on it being a dog, but that could put me in bad straights with the local rangers again when I can’t resist letting him or her off leash to run free. Hmmm… chinchillas are cute too… and no leash issues. Almost adopted a couple, Mojito and Burrito, but Ed put the kibash on gloried rodents. Ratso!! 🐀 I also LOVE birds 🐦(even my name Lynette comes from the Linnet bird), and will have to consider a talking parrot… (perhaps that threat will force Ed to reconsider the chinchillas!) I have to admit, life is soooo simple without furry or feathered friends to care for and worry about. BUT, and it is a big BUT! Life is quite empty without them! Soooo, when I heal from this cancer ordeal, it’s time to populate our home with some huggable pet! Goat? Kitten? Llama? Pot- bellied pig? Miniature donkey? Hmmm… how ‘bout a Flemish Giant Rabbit? (I don’t think the rangers could make me leash it since it falls under no known category! Eureka! Problem solved!!!)
