Reflections 2/9/2020: Well, hello blondie! Bryn, Anthony and I had some hairy fun at the wig shop yesterday. (Anthony is a nut!) They made it soooo much less painful… even a sort of adventure into architecting a whole new me! Figured I might as well explore the whole gamut of colors and looks, since my naturally curly hair will no longer set my limits! (And who knows what will grow back in when this ordeal is over!) Thank you Bon and Todd for financial help in this process as my cheapskate mentality had me scouring the Goodwill for hand-me-down wigs. Cried my whole way to the wig shop in thankfulness for you two. Between turbans, scarves and a quality wig, I think I can face the upcoming shave. (Don’t have a good shaped head for sporting the bald look!) God… still taking this one day at a time. You promise strength for one day’s challenges, not a stockpile for all the days to come. Kinda like gathering manna sufficient for just today. So, bread basket in hand, I am harvesting today’s bounty of blessing and not worrying about what might come tomorrow.
