Reflections 3/26/2020: This is absolutely more true for me than I want to admit! My preferred art form is constructing clothing outfits to explore styles of my own making. (All thrift store acquisitions lest you feel jealous!) As such a fashion aficionado, my closet, shoes, scarf and jewelry trunk (not box!) are overflowing with so many options of things to combine that it is like a painter who has unlimited pallets of paint! Nirvana!! Unfortunately I (along with everyone else) am stranded in our house with no place to get public feedback on my newest art concoction! So I gussy up every morning, jewelry sparkling on my cancer-emaciated body and strut my stuff in front of the mirror for aesthetic evaluation. And where is Ed in this artistic endeavor? Oblivious! No fan club there! Most I get is an eye roll! (He is an “acts of service” kind of guy… which I have come to appreciate more and more as my neediness has increased… so no complaint there!) Lord, I hope at least You get a kick out of my creativity! I know it is a tad materialistic, but I used to love it when Bryn would raid the dress up chest and put together bizarre outfits! As Your daughter, I hope You feel the same! Perhaps the garbage man will applaud my efforts… if I time my entrance just right, and turn my driveway into a fashion show catwalk!
